What does the Anti-Aging Starter Program treat?
This program treats fine lines, wrinkles, crows feet, loss of elasticity, loss of tone, dull skin and dry or dehydrated skin.
The main objective of this anti aging starter program is to:
- Stimulate and improve cell metabolism, blood circulation and lymph drainage
- To improve elasticity and tone of the skin
- To hydrate and nourish the skin
- To prepare the skin for future advanced treatments for further results
The Starter Program is a pre-requisite for our intensive 3-month Anti-Aging Program.
Who could benefit from this program?
Both men and women often start to see the signs of aging at around 30-35 years of age. Lifestyle choices and working conditions can have an impact on the rate of aging. Some of these aging factors include:
- Daily sun exposure without sunscreen
- Smoking
- Alcohol
This program can also help people with thin skin.
What can you expect during the treatment program?
Before we begin the treatment, we perform an in-depth skin consultation and analysis. Here we can gauge the severity of the symptoms and identify any other potential underlying skin concerns (for example: pigmentation, age spots, congestion). There are 3 treatment elements to this program. The products, the Peel and the Needling OR laser treatment. All three elements work synergistically to help stimulate collagen production and repair the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles all whilst being protected from environmental factors such as UV damage. This program combines both homecare products and in-clinic treatments for 4 weeks.
The Peel
Once the severity of the symptoms and potential underlying skin concerns are established the therapist is able to recommend the right type of Peel to begin the program. A peel is used to remove the outer layers of dead skin cells allowing active ingredients to penetrate deep into the skin layers. It also prepares the skin in order to get the most out of the advanced skin treatment that will follow (i.e. skin needling or laser). Results can be seen immediately after treatment. The client will experience some light tingling during the treatment however generally the peel being used in this program is very comfortable with little to no down time. Some slight redness may be experienced post treatment but can usually subside with 30 mins or so.
Homecare Products
The home care products are equally as important to the outcome of the treatment. By using the recommended products daily, clients can see the most dramatic results and improvements in their skin. The products that form part of this program are the basic range that needs to be used prior to any advanced treatment. These products are the key to prepping your skin by potent anti-oxidants, vitamins and key active ingredients to help age prevention, sun protection, and cleansing of skin.
Needling OR Laser Treatment
Depending on which skin condition is to be treated and the skin type, either a needling treatment or laser treatment is added to further stimulate collage production and enhance the reparative process.
