What does the Rosacea Starter Program treat?
This program treats rosacea, redness, flushing of the face, sensitive skin, and skin that is warm to touch.
Who could benefit from this program?
Men and women suffering from rosacea or red, sensitive skin. Usually affects people over 30 years of age. There are a number of factors that affect this condition including:
- Genetics
- Lighter skin types
- Alcohol consumption
- Blood pressure
This condition also can cause more discomfort than normal during hotter months due to excess flushing of the skin.
What can you expect during the treatment program?
Before we begin the treatment, we perform an in-depth skin consultation and analysis. Here we can gauge the severity of the symptoms and identify any other potential underlying skin concerns. This program combines both homecare products that target redness, irritation and inflammation with in-clinic treatments for 4 weeks. The homecare products form the foundation of the program, however the two peels really do speed results and provide a dramatic visual difference almost immediately post treatment
The Peels
There are 2 peels included in this program and they serve by driving key ingredients deep into the skin where the reparative process can begin. There is little to no discomfort during the peel treatments. Tingling sensation can be felt during the treatment, which is completely normal. Initial redness post treatment is also expected and usually subsides within 30 minutes or so.
Homecare Products
The home care products are equally as important to the outcome of the treatment. By using the recommended products daily, clients can see the most dramatic results and improvements in their skin. The BIO Hydra C contains 20% Vitamin C which is the free radical scavenger, skin brightener and is anti inflammatory. It also contains a mixture of plant stem cells that strengthens skins barrier function, stimulates healthy collagen production and reduces pore size. The moisturiser hydrates and keeps moisture levels high in the skin and is essential particularly for us living in harsh dry climates. Hydrating the skin adequately results in a more youthful appearance.
