Chemical Peels FrankstonWatch Video
Staff at our Frankston clinic are trained to offer a variety of chemical peels to suit almost every skin type and condition. Chemical peels are a safe and non-invasive treatment for smoothing, re-texturing and clarifying your skin. They work superficially to refine your skin and clear acne, and by indirectly stimulating collagen to correct underlying pigmentation & sun damage.
The difference between chemical peels and other corrective procedures, such as medical microdermabrasion and photo rejuvenation, is that chemical peels allow for a much deeper penetration of the skin resulting in a more pronounced skin solution.
At our Frankston clinic we offer a number of chemical peels ranging from superficial to medium depth penetration. For example, we use Level 1 Very Superficial, Level 2 Superficial, Level 3 Medium Anabolic, and Level 3a Medium. We use active ingredients including alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) such as glycolic, lactic and mandelic acid, and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) such as salicylic acid along with retinoids (vitamin A), niacinamide (vitamin B3) and specific enzymes. This ensures we can offer a safe and targeted solution to your skin’s needs.
Depending on the treatment being performed, there may be a little down time however most treatments are extremely comfortable and may even be combined with a microdermabrasion or low-intensity laser therapy for accelerated results.
