HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY LASER HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT?

Before your appointment you’ll need to freshly shave the treatment area. To ensure the hair is at the skin surface, it’s important not to bleach, wax or pluck this area. We strongly recommend you don’t sunbathe for 4 weeks before your treatment or during your treatments.

WHAT IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT LIKE?

When you have laser hair removal treatment, it will feel like you’re having a rubber band snapped against your skin. The Candela GentleMax Pro system fires a cooling agent immediately before the laser fires heat to the treatment area.

During your laser hair removal appointment you’ll need to wear dark glasses to protect your eyes. Our highly trained and experienced therapists move the handpiece over your treatment areas. The amount of time the laser hair removal treatment takes will depend on the size of the area being treated with times ranging from 10 minutes to 1 hour.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY LASER HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT?

After your treatment you may experience slight redness and swelling for up to 2 days. Your treated hair will fall out over the next few weeks. Sometimes it will appear as if the treated hair is growing back, however this is only the follicle shedding the dead hair.
